Competition & Event Communications
Hertfordshire Rugby publishes a full school-year competition calendar each September. All events are communicated through:

- The RFU’s GMS (Game Management System) platform for registered schools

Competition Communication Timeline
- September — Full year competition calendar published
- 6 weeks before event — Invitations and event packs sent to schools
- 2 weeks before event — Reminder and logistics information issued
- Post-event — Attendance data collected, photos shared, follow-up contact made
Teacher CPD & Training Announcements
All teacher CPD sessions, welcome events, and training opportunities are communicated via:
- Termly SRM newsletters to all registered school contacts
- Hertfordshire Rugby’s website and social media platforms
- Direct outreach from SRMs and Club–School Liaisons
- The RFU’s England Rugby Learning platform (englandrugby.com/learning)
Teachers who attend CPD sessions or bring teams to competitions are publicly recognised by Hertfordshire Rugby through social media shoutouts and certificates, and receive Hertfordshire Rugby stash as a thank-you for their commitment to the game.
