The Hertfordshire RFU Girls U18 program is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of young female rugby players in Hertfordshire.
Our aim is to provide a supportive and competitive environment where girls can excel in the sport and prepare themselves for higher-level competition.
Our Mission
We are committed to promoting women’s rugby in Hertfordshire and encouraging more girls to get involved in the sport. Our program focuses on player development and preparing girls to play at the highest levels of the game. We are proud to be a part of the England Rugby pathway, with our CB games serving as a stepping stone to the Centre of Excellence.
Competitions
The Girls U18 team participates in multiple games per year in and around the East region. These games provide valuable opportunities for our players to test themselves against h3 opposition and further their development on the field.
Development Focus
Our program places a h3 emphasis on player development and preparing girls to play the game at a higher level. We provide regular training sessions where players receive expert coaching and guidance to help them reach their full potential. Many of our players have gone on from the Centre of Excellence program to represent their country at the top level of the sport.

Eligibility
To be eligible to participate in the Hertfordshire RFU Girls U18 program, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be in the under 18 age bracket (Year 13) and below.
- Live or study in Hertfordshire.
- Play for a Hertfordshire rugby club.
- Have previously played for Hertfordshire.
- Be born in Hertfordshire.
Selection Process
Players are selected through trials conducted by our coaching staff. This process ensures fairness and transparency in player selection.
