Our Commitment

Competitions
The Senior Women’s team participates in the prestigious Gill Burns trophy competition, showcasing our talent and determination on a regional level. With three games per year, we relish the opportunity to compete against other County teams.
Training
We believe in the importance of consistent training to enhance individual skills and team cohesion. Our regular training sessions, led by our experienced coaching team headed up by Rob Staerck, provide a supportive and challenging environment for players to grow and excel in their rugby journey.

Eligibility
To be eligible to play for the Hertfordshire RFU Senior Women’s team, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Live or study in Hertfordshire.
- Play for a Hertfordshire rugby club.
- Have previously played for Hertfordshire.
- Be born in Hertfordshire.
Playing Standards
While we welcome players of all skill levels, a certain standard of rugby proficiency is required to ensure the competitiveness of our team.
Selection Process
Players are selected through trials conducted by our coaching staff. This process ensures fairness and transparency in team selection.
